The
Lancefield Show
is on again! The focus of the show is on presenting the best of local
agriculture as well as entertainment, food and culture.
Experience all the spectacle, excitement and fun of a country show including
cattle competitions, horse events, art and craft competitions including
embroidery, patchwork, knitting, sewing, fruit cake, school art and craft, dog
events, chooks, goats, alpacas, sheep events, motorcycle riding competitions,
Rural Ambassador Awards, Junior Ambassador Awards, carnival rides, various
stalls.

We are told this year's carnival will be bigger and better than ever with Rides, BBQ, Father Christmas, Community Group displays, Market, School Choirs, etc. For information, please contact Lancefield Neighbourhood House.

What could be better - come along to the Show, and go on a tour of the Nationally significant Mt. William Wurundjeri greenstone quarry - the first time since 1998 tours have been made to the quarry. It's all just sooo deliciously Macedon Ranges, isn't it?

Lancefield Agricultural Show Is On Again On October 21 - And You Can Be Part Of It!
(28/8/07 - O) Help make this local show the best yet in 2007 - you can give your support by exhibiting or visiting
Lancefield Agricultural Show is on again this year, so put 9am to 5pm on Sunday 21st October in your diary and zip over to Lancefield to experience a genuine rural agi show. The show will be held at Lancefield Park, Chauncey Street, Lancefield. From what we've heard, it could be the best Lancefield show yet with demonstrations, activities, horses, sheep, cattle, poultry, dogs, homecrafts, tractor pull, Landcare groups etc etc plus fine food and wine, and entertainment and children's activities....
You can also find out what's going on and is available locally by visiting the stalls (MRRA will be there). Stall holder requests are welcome so if you'd like to be a stall holder on the day, or would like more information about the Show, call 0407 860 320. Go to it!
