Notice of Motion No. 14/2012-13 – Councillor Anderson

That Council agree to formally accept, along with submissions that arrived during the submission time, those received after the formal submission date of 10 May 2013 on Amendment C84.

Notice of Motion No. 15/2012-13 – Councillor Piper

That the Chief Executive Officer prepare a report for the Special Council Meeting scheduled for 5 June 2013 disclosing the full scope of the Loddon Mallee South Regional Growth Plan for the Macedon Ranges Council. Specifically, the report should include:

• List of Steering Committee members (noting exclusion of Councillor representation from Macedon Ranges Shire)
• A flowchart showing the hierarchy of strategic documents from the State Government Loddon Mallee Regional Strategic Plan through to local government strategies and policies
• Tabling of Regional Growth Plan progress reports, annual reports and minutes etc from the past three years
• A list of all Macedon Ranges projects that have evolved from the State Government Loddon Mallee Regional Strategic Plan past, present and future (including but not limited to Loddon Mallee South Regional Growth Plan, Macedon Ranges Settlement Strategy, Council Plans, Council Budgets, Gisborne Hub, Macedon Ranges Equine Strategy, Draft Agribusiness Plan, Hanging Rock Investment Plan)
• A financial summary of Council’s contribution to capital works identified in the Loddon Mallee South Regional Growth Plan
• A list of key stakeholders (non-government) targeted for consultation over the past five (5) years by Regional Development Victoria, Loddon Mallee Regional Strategic Committee and the Chief Executive Officer of Macedon Ranges Shire Council

Notice of Motion No. 16/2012-13 – Councillor Piper

That the Chief Executive Officer provide a full and proper briefing of the Loddon Mallee South Regional Growth Plan with Councillors, excluding external stakeholders.

Notice of Motion No. 17/2012-13 – Councillor Piper

That the Chief Executive Officer prepares a consultation framework for the Loddon Mallee South Regional Growth Plan consistent with the Macedon Ranges adopted Community Consultation Framework for consideration by Council.

Notice of Motion No. 18/2012-13 – Councillor Piper

That the Chief Executive Officer formally advises the Loddon Mallee South Regional Steering Committee that:

• Councillor representation is required on the Steering Committee
• Council is seeking an indefinite delay in the processing of the plan to allow full and proper disclosure of the plan to the community of the Macedon Ranges Shire
•  Council wishes to submit the adopted Vision 2025 setting out the strategic directions for the Macedon Ranges Shire

Notice of Motion No. 19/2012-13 – Councillor Piper

That Council specifically review budget items that have evolved from the Draft Loddon Mallee South Regional Growth Plan.

Notice of Motion No. 20/2012-13 – Councillor Piper

That the Settlement Strategy be amended to include accurate population data representing settlement census data rather than extrapolated study areas which have confused and distorted population planning within the Settlement Strategy and individual town structure planning processes across the Macedon Ranges Shire.
