Rod Quantock To Host Climate Change Debate August 5th In Macedon
(21/7/06 - E) "Is it better to drive to a climate change rally or stay home and grow vegies?"
That's the curly question to be debated in Macedon next month, and it shapes up as an event not to be missed!
The debate panel includes:
Jennifer Alden, Bendigo Women’s health advocate and Greens lead candidate for the Upper House region of Northern Victoria;
Michael Buxton, Associate Professor Environment and Planning, School of Social Science and Planning, RMIT University;
Richard Di Natale, medical practitioner and Greens senate candidate for Victoria in the 2004 federal election;
Liz Ingham, regular contributor to Earth Garden magazine and barrister;
Dimi Bouzalas, Environmental Educator and Multicultural Advocate and
Fraser Brindley, Greens Melbourne City councillor.
A great panel of speakers with Melbourne International Comedy Festival favourite, Rod Quantock over drinks and nibbles, followed by live entertainment from the roving minstrels, Nico and Robert, to finish what will be an excellent night of entertainment at Jubilee Hall in Macedon.
