Bullengarook Landcare Group
Pyrete Flora Walk
The BLG together with the Ballarat Field Naturalists are again conducting a Flora Walk in the Pyrete State Park.
Readily accessible from Bullengarook, the Pyrete State Park is a large area of bushland which is home to a great number of flora varieties - many of which should be in flower in October.
This is a great opportunity to visit a little known Park in the company of experienced field naturalists and to see the diverse flora of the park first hand.
The walk itself will take approx. 3 hours – participants should be aware that there are some steep sections.
Participants are invited to return to the Rec Reserve after the walk for a BYO BBQ – LandCare will provide light refreshments.
Everybody is welcome
