"The Hard Yard – Stories of Farming Life"

DVD Now Available

The Department of Primary Industries (DPI) has released a DVD in which farming families from across Victoria share their stories about the pressures of rural life.

In the DVD, titled "The Hard Yard – Stories of Farming Life", farmers, children and community organisations tell their stories about how rural communities manage the tough challenges of farming life, including drought, fires, flood, frost, pests and disease.

"The Hard Yard – Stories of Farming Life" also includes a comprehensive list of contact details for a range of organisations which offer free support and independent advice.

Jointly funded by the Department of Primary Industries and the Department of Human Services, the DVD is available from the Drought Information Line on 136 186.
