Bullengarook Landcare:
Improved Water Usage in a Rural Environment
Presented by Melanie Kinsey
Water is becoming scarcer for all of us, as our rainfall decreases.
Beyond water tanks and cactus gardens, how can we improve our water usage in a rural environment? Historically those not on mains water have always had to be frugal with their water supplies. How on earth can we be expected to save any more?
Melanie Kinsey talks about ways and means to save water in the home, garden and paddock as our climate gets drier and water can no longer be taken for granted.
Melanie is a qualified horticulturist who has moved from an initial career in parks maintenance and management (municipal and educational sector) to freelance horticultural photojournalism. She now writes for a variety of trade and popular magazines.
