UPDATE 'Macedon Ranges' Animal Aid' Appeal: Clive Gets New Car
(21/7/06 - O) Macedon Ranges' community gave with its heart
What a grand result! What a generous community! Clive Morton, who runs Macedon Ranges Animal Aid, and who had his car stolen and destroyed last month, is on the road again. Well done to the many, many people who initiated and contributed to such a good news story, and outcome.
Stolen Car: Support 'Macedon Ranges' Animal Aid' Appeal
(9/7/06 - O) Give with your heart
Most residents will have read in local papers recently about the senseless destruction of Macedon Ranges' Animal Aid volunteer Clive Morton's car, and of the appeal account set up by the Midland Express for public donations (the Clive Morton Aid account). Clive, along with the Shire's wildlife carers, and local vets and pet shops, do so much for the Shire's animal population. Our Council also last year supported wildlife carers with funding. Many of us never hear about it, but most volunteers step up to the hard work, long hours and sometimes heartbreak, 365 days a year and do so with a rare passion and dedication.
MRRA has donated $50 to the appeal. If you can help Clive, even in a small way, please, please do. Contact details: Midland Express, Kyneton. 5422 1488
